About Hampstead & Belsize Park NW3
Hampstead and Belsize Park sit within the London Borough of Camden, bordering Hampstead Heath's 790 acres to the north. Hampstead Village, the historic core around Church Row, Flask Walk and Well Walk, retains dense Georgian and early Victorian cottages and terraces, many listed, with grander stucco-fronted Victorian villas — some Grade II listed — along Frognal and Fitzjohn's Avenue.
Belsize Park developed on the former Belsize Manor estate between the 1850s and 1870s, producing one of London's most architecturally consistent Victorian neighbourhoods along wide, tree-lined avenues like Belsize Park Gardens, Belsize Square and Belsize Crescent — grand villas largely subdivided into generous mansion flats today. Towards Swiss Cottage, the housing shifts to red-brick Edwardian mansion blocks and denser development around the Finchley Road junction. Note that Hampstead Garden Suburb, despite the similar name, is a separate area entirely in the N2/NW11 postcodes and London Borough of Barnet — not part of NW3 or Camden.
What matters at check-out depends on the property. Georgian houses and listed Victorian villas are judged on how well protected period features have been maintained, while mansion flats and conversions are inspected on general condition and communal standards. NW3 letting agents run detailed check-out inventories, so we adjust the clean to the property, which is how we help Hampstead and Belsize Park tenants hand back in inspection-ready condition.
